Singer also added, "I try to focus on one picture at a time and not attach myself to dozens of things and then see whichever thing is ready and jump on it. I really try to focus on a few things and whatever it is I'm really involved in at the time. Right now, I'm sort of at the development stages of a few different things, X-Men 2 obviously. A lot of characters will be back, and there will be a couple of new characters, but beyond that I couldn't really tell you anything--anything you can't read on the Internet in two weeks, anyway."

Duh, Star Wars Episode 2 will be the greatest sequel ever... or is that an antecedent-sequel.
Then again, X-men won't have JarJar.

I think it'll be alright, I guess. I'm just getting sick and tired of sequels this ....sequels that. I hope, and I mean hope, that there is some real creative talent around in order to create new characters, memorable for good or bad, before Hollywood runs out of things to do. Now, when was the last time, in recent history that anyone created a hero, a world known hero, that'll stick for generations? I mean, all of this Batman, Superman, Spiderman shyt is getting old. I'm not saying I'm not a fan, just wondering when we're going to develop creative talent as people in the past. Its a shame that it's all about the quick buck anymore, instead of making a film that'll be around in 50 years. Maybe one of us can pen TINY into a script and have him killed off by FRED HATER in a battle of the sexes and wit? I'll start my version in a few, and I'll be sure to post my rewrites here (not really).

Do you think George Lucas will leave his little bubble, listen to his audience and stop creating these stupid Muppet characters with Rodger Rabbit voices??? Let's face it, Episode One is NOTHING like the original Star Wars... it is too consumerish, poor dialogue and it has no real audience because Lucas tries to cater to all ages - he needs to refocus more on the writing, cater more to an adult audience. If he wants to sell toys to little kids he should come out with a different series

Jimbo, you're more annoying than Omar!
Trust me, that's not a compliment.
Oh yeah, apostrophes and commas are not interchangable forms of punctuation. Use proper punctuation or no punctuation at all!

You Wrote:

Well, of course you buy your snacks at the store!! What other alternative could there be? Buying your snacks at the theatre and taking them home?

STAR WARS, was an awesome movie in the seventies.
If it were released today it would be laughed out of the theater. Harrison Ford and Sir Alec Guiness were the only actors that could act in that movie and the dialogue was silly.
It was revolutionary but, was is the key word.

Are we talking about characters that will be remembered for 50 years or characters that will be rehashed and reused for 50 years. The problem with keeping characters going for that long is they don't age, they don't die, and there are only so many stories that you can tell with one character that doesn't change.

Lets hope he won't be reused for 50 years. Maybe when they rerelease the original Star Wars trilogy on DVD they can edit the Gungans in somewhere, now that would be cool(sarcasm).
