Okay, firt things first, I havn't seen any previews, read the books, or even read any articles about this movie so....

This movie is going to crash and burn harder then crack addict on a 10 day bender! Why you ask? No star power!

If only they had consulted me, I would have recommended that they hire Dani Devito as the main troll/elf/fairy or whatever. Then I would have gotten Patrick Stewart hired as the salty but loveable sea captain (aaarh me maties!). Finally I would have hired the cast of the Muppet show to do the intermissions, because let's face it, no one wants to sit through 2 hours of the same thing.

Maybe I'd throw in a few scantily clad under fed models to. After all, nothing goes better with geeky 14yr old boys (the target audience I'm told) then some thinly veiled masturbation fodder.

By admitting that you have never read Tolkien, you have nullified your opinion, because no one can take advice from an ill-read,
illiterate swine like yourself! And there are enough people with brains in the viewing public to decide for themselves if the film has merit enough to stand on its own, those of us who have read this superlative writers works will see it just for the basis of comparison
