lone gunman was a great show
why cant hollywood give these shows a chance? x-files didnt do well its first year either---

the tick will probably be held till mid summer
and the lone gunman was horrible, the x-files did so so soooooo much better their first season,
don't delude yourself

I have to admit -- Lone Gunman was the best new show this year.

Action, comedy, romance... what more could you want? How about great direction, music, and a cunning plot every week!

AHH!!!! i could do better with fox and get better ratings than anyone who works there could. THE LONE GUNMEN WAS A GOOD SHOW! IT GOT GReAT RATINGS ON SUNDAY!!! so good f'ing move, fox, WHY DONT YOU MOVE IT TO FRIDAY. idiots. i have talked to many people who have said "if the lone gunmen wasn't on friday nite, i'd watch it." When are they going to drop Duchovny and his pathetic demands and get another actor to play the role of Mulder? It's just a role, after all. Any competent actor could read the lines just as well as Duchovny.

Drop Duchnovy and add someone else to play Mulder?!? You're crazy. If that happens, X-files will be no more. Think of those people who are bent on keeping the same person as a certain character.

I for one would ignore X-files completely if they replaced Duchnovy with someone else to play Mulder. That's a bigggg NO-NO!

Sad to see him go. I think it'll be the last year of X-files. It's had it's time and i think soon they must depart from the spotlight and leave it at its PEAK! (not much of a peak now but....)

The time to say Good bye to the "X-Files" was last season. They need to draw it to some kind of end and then let it go. No one could replace Mulder or Scully. They were the whole show.

I don't think they should cancel the X-files ever. It just needs a little shot in the arm.

I'm thinking instead they could dress up all the actors in tiny bathing suits, and have them solve paranormal crimes on Daytona beach, while rescuing drowners and stopping treasure smugglers of course. They wouldn't have to replace Scully either, they could just suck excess material from her head, and pump it into her boobs and, Voila! A star is born!

They should have answered all the questions with the movie and ended the show. It has become tired and formulaic, frankly its not even close to fun anymore.

If I have to look a G. Anderson looking sullen one more time I'll puke.

Well, the X-Files is getting repetitive. Mulder is the most important part. Drop Mulder, drop the X-Files. I hate to say it, but I know it won't be the same without him. What they should do is do one last movie with Scully and Mulder(Duchovny said he'd only do movies) and tie up all the loose end. There. That's the end. A happy ending at that. There will always be re-runs. Oh, and remember, the DVD's are still coming out! (I think they are up to season 3.)

The Lone Gunmen was a good show. I'm sure it would have done better with a decent time slot. Who's home on Fridays anyway! The Lone Gunmen needs another chance. It had the right amount of everything.
