Only in film can you spend 10 million dollars on something that my or my not see the light of day. Oops sorry... Only in politics AND film can you spend 10 million on something that my or not come to fruishion.

Honestly, I didn't like the movie. I mean, it had it's moments, such as the Huey Lewis scene. That was great. But all in all, it just wasn't as good as I'd hoped for. Not even close actually.
A sequel is definitely not in order here.

I agree,a sequel to this movie is just not necessary. It was a great movie, and the book even better! But a sequel will just ruin it! why dont they do a movie on another book by Brett ellis?

I worked in Post-production on this film. It is worth a see, but it's not at all like the original. It stands pretty well on it's own though.

American Psycho was based on a famous novel by Brett Easton Ellis. Correct me if I'm wrong, but he never wrote a sequel. This sounds like another shameless hollywood dead horse flogging for some quick bucks, (which probably won't eventuate). I sincerely hope they don't make this sure turkey.
