Ashley Judd as Catwoman

(Empire) Not content with having teams working on two future Batman movies, Warner Bros executives have done a deal this week to take a third spin-off the big screen.

According to reports in today's Variety, Ashley Judd has agreed to take on the role of Catwoman - a decision that will gladden the hearts of PVC fans the world over.

Scriptwriter John Rogers will now be given the task of taking the Catwoman film forward - and it's a competitive field with Darren Aronofsky and Boaz Yakin working on a Batman prequel and sequel respectively.

Ashley Judd is a great choice for Catwoman.  She is extreemly physically fit & I imagine the role will require a great many stunts. (ever read the comics?)

I'm still not seeing it.  Angelina Jolie would be way better for the part.

Judd is very attractive, just a little too cutesy for the part.

I do like Ashley but I believe Michelle Pfeiffer was the most convincing,sexy,"emotionally dark"etc  catwoman ever,and i think they(producers) are making a real gamble by placing Ashley and not Michelle in the role-she would ensure a huge box office hit and i am sure if oscars were given for movies like Batman returns Michelle would easily have pocketed it!

I agree with you that Ashley is a wonderful actress,i am equally as much a fan of hers as Michelle pfeiffer,but I do think Michelle did a unmatchable job in batman returns.If i were the makers of this film i would wait for Michelle to be available!

ithink courteney cox arquette would have made a great catwoman, she has the sex appeal and in a way looks like she could play a sexy bitch in a latex suit, she was a great bitch in the scream trilogy would anyone else agree with me.
