Fox's Lone Gunmen and NBC's Lost Empire are dropping in ratings in the coveted 18-49 age group. Lone Gunmen has dropped 32% and Lost Empire will rank as NBC's lowest-rated firstrun TV movie of the season. ABC and CBS are expected to lead in adults 18-49 this week with CBS as the leader in total-viewers.

I'm an X-Files fan and a huge Lone Gunman fan, and I watch both shows religiously. I think Lone Gunman is a good show, and that people just have to give it a chance. I think it has low ratings b/c its different. Every other show appeals to their audiences with skimpily dressed women, or leading Hollywood men, or some sping off of a coveted American delusion (The West Wing), or some other sh*t that stupid and has no plot or purpose. The Lone Gunman appeals to people who think, avid conspiracy theorists and X-Files fans. We don't watch the show for some hot guy or girl, we watch it b/c it's interesting, clever, witty, and funny. And it even involves current events from time to time (exaggerated, of course). So, if you don't watch the show, please start so the murderers at FOX don't cut it short like the excellent Harsh Realm. It's a good show, and if you actually pay attention and use that large mushy, wrinkly thing inside your head (your brain) you might enjoy it.

Lost empire had a cool concept, but it seems to have been directed and written by culturally insensitive idiots. Is everyone trying to emulate the crappy "Hercules" fantasy genre? Try making the movie an intelligent adventure and use a more tactful hand with the special effects. A lost opportunity to make a good movie. Good job losers.

Lone Gunmen is one of the most poorly written shows I've ever seen. Talk about bad dialogue, predictable plots... can hardly believe it's the same people who did the X-Files. Not surprised it's tanking.

The Lone Gunmen didn't have poor ratings. It kicked butt. The ratings were only reported low, another finger of the government trying to control what we watch. People will read the poor ratings reports and not watch one of the best conspiracy reporting programs of the era. Typical ploy for you.

X-Files now sucks. Millennium should have been on longer, stupid producers F***ed that up. Fox will cancel Lone Gunmen, well, because they are all talking monkeys. Chris Carter Rocks, bring back our Harsh Realm.

What in the world is the "Lost Empire"? I haven't seen any ads for it, didn't even know it was on. Are you SURE this is a network TV show? I know absolutely NOTHING about it. I usually know something about what is on TV.
Now, "The Lone Gunmen" on the other hand just isn't very good.

What can you GET from PAY TV?. . . "Taxicab Confessions" and Opera. "Sex and The City" and "Shark Week". Endless reruns of "The Shawshank Redemption" and "Jaws". Good movies true, but trivialized by their unrelenting re-runs.
Television hasn't really even attmpted to serve what people really want since (MAYBE) the 1950's.

Actually, the "Lost Empire" is a spinoff of "Frasier" starring Kelsey Grammer. Kelsey plays Luitenant Grammer, a jive talking turkey who speaks in rhyme. The catch is that his grammar is really bad and he is constantly attacked by dinosaurs.
