i wouldn't be afraid of armed kidnappers. he plays a tough guy in movies so he should feel invincible in real life too. i think crowe is an adultrous creep and i find australians to be generally annoying (g'day this a**h*les) but he has a right to fear for his life you jealous wimps.

I've had the pleasure of meeting some movie stars in person. You people have no idea, what kind of threats this people get! I'm extremely glad that he went to the extreme measures that he did! If something happened to him or someone else, in the movie business, then I think you would all feel like idiots!

There was a story a while back that once Sylvester Stallone canceled filming a movie because there was a bomb threat on him.
It's not so much that we think there is anything wrong with super stars fearing for their lives but rather that some one who's entire career is based off of looking like a bad ass would chicken in the moment of truth..
Ask your self what would Rambo do?

Are you guys idiots? These people are ACTORS they play a role, Crowe is NOT a gladiator, Stallone is NOT Rambo.
Bombs in movies are fakes, not in life, what Rambo would do is inconsequential (look it up in the dictionary kiddies).
Someone phones in a bomb threat, actor or every day joe, you are gonna be worried. And if you are going to tell me you wouldn't be then you're a bigger idiot then your words make you out to be.
Hey no one is critizing.

Geez! It's not like we're telling them they should be a superhero just because the play one on TV, it's just funny and ironic that it should happen.
