CBS Sues Survivor Reject

In what has become a troubled season for the hit TV show Survivor (at least in legal terms), CBS has counter-sued ex-survivor Stacey Stillman.

Stacey Stillman was booted from last year's Survivor, and later claimed that she was kicked due to rigging by the CBS production team (to keep Rudy on?). She has since sued CBS over the matter.

CBS on Tuesday filed a $5 million countersuit against former Survivor castaway Stacey Stillman, claiming the San Francisco lawyer is guilty of breach of contract, extortion and defamation.

CBS claims that Stillman has "benefited enormously" from the series, doing commericals for Reebock, and appearing on a San Fransisco TV station.

"They're trying to smear me however they can, and they're reaching," she said Tuesday. "They've threatened me with this before, and it's not going to deter me. I'm confident that, when this goes to court, I'll win."

Oh, what has become of the American system? What would be considered a great privledge by some has caused greed to be showcased in its finest form.

Maybe I would act differently if I were placed in the same situation, but I find this to be utterly ridiculous.

I watched the show faithfully, all of it, and in my opinon, Stacey is a sore loser, Rudy was clearly better than her.

This is crazy. She signs a contract and then sues when she loses.

DOESNT SHE REALIZE THATS HOW THE GAME WAS TO BE PLAYED..SOME WIN , SOME LOSE..FRANKLY I AM GLAD IT TURNED OUT THE WAY IT DID....SHE WAS KICKED OFF FOR A REASON!!!!COULDNT SURVIVE!

STACY IS THE EPITIMY OF A SORE LOSER.....SHE HAS GOTTEN SO MUCH OUT OF THIS WHOLE THING...COMMERCIALS , APPEARENCES..SO WHATS THE PROB..SHE WOULD BE A WAITRESS SOMEWHERE IF IT WASNT FOR CBS!!! GET A LIFE STACY!!
