(EMPIRE)"Drew Barrymore and finac?e Tom Green narrowly escaped being burned alive early on Sunday morning (18 February) when a fire broke out in their Beverly Hills home. The pair were saved however, by the noble efforts of their dog Flossie who alerted the sleeping couple to the danger."
Sixty firefighters fought the blaze for an hour before finally bringing it under control, but not before the fire did an estimated $700,000 worth of damage to the property, completely gutting the top floor.
The Charlie?s Angels star assured reporters at the scene that she and her fianc?e were absolutely fine, "Other than the fact that the home burned down," added Green.
Investigators have yet to determine the cause of the blaze.

DOES ELSE THINK THE FIRST SENTANCE SHOULD READ THAT DREW IS TOM GREEN "fiNancee" rather than the other way around? She does make more $ than he does. How funny that a typo can hold such importance in the expression of the concept.
