Jean Reno, whose new serial killer flick, The Crimson Rivers, is already being compared to the likes of Se7en, has revealed that he will be working with his directorial mentor Luc Besson again in the near future, according to news from Empire Online UK.
"I will be back with Luc Besson on my next project," says Reno (who recently finished filming John McTiernan?s Rollerball remake, in which he plays a bad Russian dude), on the JoBlo website. "Luc will write the script and co-produce the movie with me. Although he won?t direct it, I will be acting in it. It?s gonna be a France/Japan collaboration."
Reno is still sketchy on the details of the film itself, but so far it is known that the film is an espionage actioner called Kiss Of The Dragon, and it will also star Jet Li, Tcheky Karyo and Bridget Fonda. Sounds like a pretty good cast so far I think. And of course, with a title such as that, and with Jet Li in the cast, expect some bad-ass martial arts action in there.
