Teen popstar Britney Spears will make her film debut this year. The Britney Spears project is currently untitled, but supposedly in the works, according to news from Empire Online UK. I guess it is time to brace ourselves for the inevitable.
The story is about three high school students who used to be best friends, but have drifted into different lives. One is a cheerleader, one is a dropout and one, to be played by Britney, is a goody goody, straight-A student (gee, what do you know). The trio travel across America and, after meeting a musician, end up competing in a musical competition in L.A. Basically, it sounds like yet another teen pop marketing plug, giving Spears the ample opportunity to show off her "musical talents." Oops, she did it again.
The film will be directed by Tamra Davis, who made Gun Crazy and Best Men, both with Drew Barrymore.

Does that apply also for sites such as E! Online, Times, CNN, Empire, CHUD and a bunch of others? It's all just crap that we want to hear, but are just too ashamed to admit it. Yes, I like Britney Spears! AAAAAH!!

This is so pathetic. First she wants to be a teen role model. Then she showed us her true colors when she did a strip tease OBVIOUSLY not directed to her adorable little teeny-bopper fans (duh) and now she wants to act? Oh god, she never stops amazing us with her cheapness. Now she is going to star in a movie about hair extensions and silicon breasts? Oh yay! How exciting... :(

It is sad. We (females) are supposed to look up to her, but she is so fake. Guys only like her because she is "sexy" but really she is not. If girls would wear cloths like that too, everyone would be hoes. What is the world coming to!?!?!?
