Disgruntled Tech Worker finds Robot Fight Club

According to news from The Hollywood Reporter, Columbia Pictures will be developing a science fiction thriller movie titled Automata.

Special-effects wizard Stan Winston and producer Brian Gilbert are lined up to be involved in the project.

Mike Jones will write the script. The story itself is about a disgruntled telephone tech support worker who stumbles on an underground fight club for robots. Interesting.

Winston will be producing the movie and will also develop the special effects.
