Matrix 2 Script Completed

The famous deadpan actor Keanu Reeves told USA Today that the Wachowski brothers, Andy and Larry, have completed the script for The Matrix 2, the sequel to their hit 1999 SF movie The Matrix. "It's fantastic," Reeves said. "It has even more ambitions than the first one. My character [Neo] is more developed." Well, let's certainly hope so. Wait a minute, who am I kidding, it's Keanu Reeves.

Reeves then added, "There are a lot of physical demands in it. It's more sophisticated in the action sequences and fight sequences." In other words, the Wachowski brothers will try to outdo the previous film's dazzling visuals. "They're trying to achieve certain camera perspectives." So if all else fails, it should be a pretty good visual spectacle.

The cast will also get together in November to begin pre-production training. And I'm sure that probably means more Kung Fu fighting. The Matrix 2 and 3 will begin back-to-back production in the spring. Matrix 2 is slated for a late 2002 release and Matrix 3 for summer 2003.

Good point. But you can say that about a lot of actors. Enjoy the movie[s] for what they are and everyone just shut up.

There are alot of actore and actresses in hollywood that have no acting ability..that's not what they're selling. Hollywood is selling their looks, voice and sex appeal..no where does it say talent is a factor. Therefore, Keanu is famous not for his acting abilities but for his haunting looks, deep voice and enormous..uhh sex appeal:)

You people are so funny, fighting over if keanu is good or not, Its the over all movie, the feel that counts. If only faces counted and how muscular you are, then the movies would just be porno pictures with alotttttttt of Bay Watch acting. I think Matrix was a good step in the area of visuals, for it introduced new techniques for camera usage and also the storyline is very convincing, but it might be a little hard to understand. 

Note:: Not everyone is the same, for you critics that dont know how to critique. ^_^ and u can't say nutin cause im not pointing a finger at you am IIII. ^-^

now honestly if it were all just about the sex. (Which it mostly is) wouldn't Pam Anderson have more movies under her belt, (oops I mean, one over & one under...). Anyway, acting is hard I've done it a few times and it's not as easy as you all think. Try it some time then come off with your dead pan remarks. I'm not a huge reaves fan, but he was perfect for this role. (big star, big name, lets of draw, and the right person for the job looks wise, not to built, but not a wimp either).

I cant believe what a disapointment this movie was. I mean the first one had so much going for it . It was like watching a great comic book with an intelligent storyline come to life. Ok, the new one is visually stunning but that's all. Im bored within the first half hour because of these extended action sequences that seem so damned repeatative. It felt like my brain was leaking out of my ear. This movie is for people with absolutely no intelligence that seem to just follow hyped up action flicks. It sort of reminded me of that lame as movie with the cars that made all the meat heads feel all squishey inside. what was it the fast and the furious or some sh*t. bottom line this movie sucks butt juice. who cares about the next one, I sure dont
