"Nobody" a film by writer/director Ramzi Abed, has just had its online premiere at IFilm.com Previous to the premiere at IFilm, "Nobody" has been screened at the 1998 Fort Worth Film Festival, Santa Monica Film Festival, Freaky Film Festival, Atom-Bomb.com, and The Sync On-Line Film Festival.

"Nobody" is a dark and atmospheric tale, set in the realm of suburbia. The dark monotony of everyday life leaves a boy disconnected from the world, and is constantly entrenched in his imagination. As time passes by, things transform into something far more surreal. Childhood is a time when dreams take precedence over the waking world, and those dreams can even creep into stark reality.

So far, "Nobody" has grabbed a few awards already and has been voted #1 in The Sync's on-line fest since February 2000. The film can be seen under the "narrative" section of the festival. "Nobody" is now also playing at the Zoomgo 1st Annual On-Line Film Festival, which will be running until the end of June.

And as viewers remember, we had a story on "Waking" awhile ago, another film by Abed. Currently, "Waking" ("Independent Filmmaker Award" 1999 Fort Worth Film Festival, "People's Choice Award" Dallas Video Festival 2000) has been having a nice run at IFilm, staying in a good position for awhile at the "Top 20 Rated" list. The film is also listed in the "experimental" section, and is a tribute to Franz Kafka.
