Like kiddie porn? I hope not, and so do the people over at Zeropaid.com.?That's why they're putting up a site called the "Wall of Shame" that posts the IP address of anyone that tries to download files disguised as kiddie porn from their network using the Gnutella file trading program.?There have been many controversies over the functionality of Gnutella, which is one of the reasons that AOL almost immediately took it down from their affiliate's site.?It can be used to trade MP3s, Videos, pirated software, pornography, and pretty much anything else you can think of.?These people are trying to help the Gnutella community stay clean, and I for one agree with what they are doing.?Some are complaining that it makes public that which you are doing in private -- going against the basic principles this country protects us against, but I think that when you've got a program that works like Gnutella does, regulations have to come from the users themselves, and this is what I think Zeropaid.com is tryin to do.?Read more...
