need advice from Barris on building a new generation of exploration vehicles to traverse Mars.?The engineers are part of NASA's Mars EVA (extra vehicular activity) project.?They gave Barris a call after coming across a model of Barris' "Moon Scope," a full-size working six-wheeled vehicle designed in the 1960s for lunar exploration.?NASA is now cooperating with Barris, who has given the space agency permission to use any of his designs.?Barris is also credited for designing the Munster's hearse, the Green Hornet's car and Knight Rider's talking Trans Am, Kit (wow, I actually remember).?Barris is scheduled to receive the Life Career Saturn Award from the Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy and Horror Films in June.?
