AOL/Time Warner Open Up Their Lines
By Acheron, (DT)

In an effort to facilitate the growth in the broadband market, AOL and Time Warner announced that they will open up the TW cable lines for other ISPs to deliver broadband service to customers.?They're being really cool about this -- they're not limiting which ISPs will use their lines, and they are letting the ISPs work directly with the customer (Time Warner will not be a third party nuscance).?I wonder what they're planning? My biggest fear is that they'll start up a broadband AOL service(which really is inevitable), which could very well mean the end of the Internet as we know it :( Well, time for this hypocrite to go buy some more AOL stock.?Oh, you can read more here.
