Sega's Dreamcast hasn't been doing too well in recent
days.?Today it "warned of steep business losses this buisness year."
It's not been doing so hot in Japan, and with the Playstation 2 coming out
in, oh, 2 or so weeks, it's about to do a lot worse.?Come |
| Fall when the
Playstation 2 is released in the US, the Dreamcast may very well be a nonfactor
in the gaming community.
This can mean three things up until then.?Either 1, they'll
knock the price of the dreamcast down 50-100 bucks, 2, they'll get on the
ball and start shipping new games faster(which might not be a good thing),
or 3, all the game developers will jump ship, and those that bought the
Dreamcast will be left out in the cold.?I'm glad I waited, and depending
on what happens in the coming months, I might not buy a Dreamcast. |
