Ray Bradstone has just gone out of prison. Determine to start a new life, he tries to make amends with his ex-wife and daughter Sally. As it turns out, it was difficult because of so many sad experiences that her family had suffered. Later he finds a job as a chaperone on his daughter's school field trip. Trouble lurks around the corner, as his former bank building crew tries to get in touch with him, even threatening his very own daughter.
