A movie theater projectionist, a television news reporter, a physical therapist, and a trigger-happy 12 year old kid discovered one day that they were the only ones left in the city of Detroit. A plague of darkness seems to have fallen upon the city, everyone else disappeared without a trace. The power supplying the city was also cut off, and only the limited supply from a power generator keeps them alive.
