It was a time when women did not share equal rights with men, and were clearly considered inferior. Rita was a mother and wife who shares the same view as that of other women in the country: that somehow there was something wrong with the system on how women should be treated in society. A simple meeting led to a full blown case wherein they decided enough is enough. They brought it out on the streets against their bosses, and later against the government.
