Ali is a new comer in Los Angeles, trying to find her self a living. She finds job as a cocktail waitress at the Burlesque Lounge, a night club in town owned by Tess and where legends are born. After making adjustments to the city life where not everyone is as friendly as she expected, she slowly and ambitiously takes one step further into becoming a singer on stage. Through the help of bartender and aspiring musician Jack and the stage manager, Ali instantly becomes a star sensation, drawing huge crowds of people packing the Lounge, including a wealthy businessman who later makes a bid for the club, and her heart.
