This movie circles around Allen Ginsberg, noted for the most timeless work of his career entitled Howl. It combines three different stories that played during his time. His love for poetry led him to discover new ways of expressing himself. Part of the story also involves the landmark 1957 obscenity trial which caused so much attention in American society. Allen also recounts the many things that have been influencing his life and career, like recounting his roadtrips, love affairs, as well as his continuous search for personal liberation.
