This is a movie based on the acclaimed novel by Kazuo Ishiguro bearing the same title. In this story, Kathy, Tommy and Ruth are friends who spent most of their childhood lives at Hailsham, an English boarding school. There they have everything they need, and almost never got to see the outside world. However, when they grew up into young adults, things between them have started to change. While two of them have fallen in love with each other, the other girl began to feel a sense of insecurity and jealousy over them.
