Dave Stutler is just your ordinary, average kid on the block, but not until the day a master sorcerer Balthazar Blake came to recruit him. Balthazar has an enormous task of protecting Manhattan from the evil sorcerer Maxim Horvath. For Dave to becomes a full fledge sorcerer's apprentice, he must be trained in the art and science of magic. Balthazar was more than willing to provide him with a crash course, as he sees a hidden potential within the kid.
