Enforcement records information.Law enforcement records are also known as police records. These are public records concerning criminal or civil cases where law enforcements were involved. Enforcement records can be records regarding civil or criminal law offenses. Some driving records are also considered enforcement records. All US states have enforcement records databases and registries where people can search for information. In most of the cases the access to the records is completely public. However there are some records that are not available to members of the general public (such as juvenile criminal records). Another useful way of searching for such records is through independent public records websites that pull data from all government resources. Law enforcement records management systems.
The idea of law enforcement records management system was first implemented in 2002. It was sponsored by the U.S Department of Justice, Bureau of Justice Assistance. Currently the program is still active and it is a joint effort between the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the state law enforcement structures. The aim of the program is to improve the data communication between all justice agencies as well as the public. There are also some private companies working in this field and developing other software solutions for data management. |
