Air force records are managed by The National Military Personnel Center and by The National Archives. An air force record can be accessed by its owner, next of a kin of the owner or anyone else interested in viewing the record. Air force service records can be requested by filling in a standard form 180 at The National Military Personnel Center or filling in DD form 214 at the National Archives.
