TOKYO, Jan 21 (Reuters) - Shochiku Co Ltd , a major Japanese movie distributor, said on Friday it formed a joint venture with Tokyo-based slot and pinball machine maker Aruze Corp to market movies and plays in Japan.?The joint venture, capitalised at 20 million yen, is owned 60 percent by Aruze and 40 percent by Shochiku and will start operations in the spring of this year, it said.?Shochiku posted a parent net loss of 2.48 billion yen in the six months to August 1999, due to poor showings of Japanese movies.?Shochiku's shares closed at 495 yen on Friday, down 12 yen or 2.37 percent.?Aruze fell 130 yen or 1.65 percent to 7,770.?
