What are the main types of public court records?Court public records are those records that come from court sessions. A court public record may be a civil or criminal. Public court records coming from civil courts are generally called civil, and those coming from a criminal court - criminal public records. The difference between a civil and a criminal public court record is in the nature of the deed that led to the court trial. Civil court deal with civil issues such as divorce or adoption, property related issues, name changes and so on.
