Ramona Quimby is a young grade schooler who enjoys life quite differently than other kids her age. His older sister Beezus (which Romona actually called her instead of her real name Beatrice because Ramona could not say it well while she was learning to talk) tries to keep up and to understand her seemingly unending misadventures in school, at home, and in the neighborhood. Because of this, everybody is always on their toes when Ramona is around, anticipating any form of unexpected misbehaviours and other surprises. Despite of these, her family loves her for her far reaching imaginations.
