Raymond Yale rans off a miserable married life, but instead got into an unwanted affair with the troubled Carla, who has a criminal for a husband. After Carla shows Ray the money which her husband just raked from his latest crime, they decided to take the chance and run off. But things are not going to be easy, as a planned arsony proved to be a fatal error. Carla's husband becomes suspicious, and a blackmailer threatens to break everything apart.
