In what would appear to be a godsend for low-budget independent movie makers and videographers, Japan's Matsushita company announced Tuesday that it will release a new digital video camera with powerful anti-vibration technology that can keep hand-held shots steady and sharp.?The camera employs three linear motors to correct for jumpy images and also uses a relatively large 3.5 inch LCD viewer.?Moreover, the camera employs technology that allows its batteries to be recharged in 15 minutes for one hour of filming.?The camera is expected to sell for about $1,900 when it goes on sale in Japan on Feb.?1.?There was no indication when it will be marketed in the U.S.?Source: Studio Briefing
