Toe to toe is an American movie that centers in the life of two different girls who clicked together at first but suddenly had a serious fight when they fell in love with the same guy. Jesse (Louise Krause) is a privileged white girl who has a slutty and self-destructive behavior, made friends with Tosha (Sonequa Martin) a determined African-American who is exactly her opposite. Together they had an admirable friendship that seems not to end until they met an impressive Lebanese deejay named Rashid. They fell in love with the same guy that causes their friendship to fall apart. Things got worse when they had a shoving match on the lacrosse field and Toshas was degraded by a prejudice. Because of these, Jean was kicked out from school and made more crazy things to herself. Unexpectedly, Tosha came to the rescue and Jesse gave her a favor in return.
