Angie King is a beautiful woman at the age of 23, was brought up all alone by her father who is a well-known respected pastor in a family-like community in Augusta, Georgia. Being the only woman in her father's life, she tends most of all his needs. She devotes her time in taking care of her father's health condition. She even goes to church thrice a week and joins the choir and sings in the congregation. Until one day a gospel musical play came down in their town and she was bewitched by Delvin, the lead actor in the play. She decided to come with him in the musical play, leaving her father and the community she grew up with, thinking that she was really missing out her life. But life is too harsh, she realized that she ended up with a wrong decision of leaving his true friend and loving family.
