A film about what happens when one reaches the crossroads of his life, Ben Stiller plays the role of the loner guy Roger Greenberg in this movie. Roger has lived his life to an extent that he finds himself lose at what to do next. He tried what he thought was the next best thing: to do nothing. Later he ends up in his brother's home in Los Angeles doing some odd housesitting chores. There he meets Florence, his brother's assistant and an aspiring singer.
