Macromedia announced that the next version of flash technology will allow for high quality printing from the web.?No more printing pages that look different in every browser, or low res maps from places like the yahoo trip planner.?The flash printing will be directly from the vector graphics which flash uses, rather than the pixel based images of jpeg and gif.?This will allow 300 dpi printing, instead of the 72 dpi standard to most "on screen" applications.?Read the Press release. |
