Bliss (played by Ellen Page), a Texas teen, became rebellious and throws away her small town beauty pageant crown. She later finds her true passion in the rowdy world of roller derby, against her very disapproving mother. At first her teammates make fun of her seemingly weak and awkward approach to the game, but her determination proved them all wrong, and she became a formidable player for the team. Ellen plays alongside Kristen Wiig (Saturday Night Live) and Juliette Lewis (Old School)
