Paris got blown away.?London is battened down.?New York is nervous.?Seattle is shut.?Seems like Portland is the only place with a party.?For industryites, the last big question of the 20th century is whether to party with the hordes of revelers like it?s 1999, or hunker down at the manse like it?s 1899.?It looks like the millennium is going out with a whimper, not a bang.?Well here's my opinion let the chips fall where they may.?This is the millennium.?It doesn't get any better than this.?Of course not everyone is going out stocking up for the nuclear melt down and hovoc throughout the land, according to the results from a CNN/USA Today poll, which finds one in five respondents saying that they are planning to be having sex at the stroke of midnight.
