Now click randomly around the timeline, and imagine those still frames, hanging on a wall. Now do it with a David Fincher movie, like Fight Club, the Game, Se7en, Zodiac. Nearly every frame could stand by itself. The man could shoot a quilting circle and make it look, raw, and violent. Even the lesser features he\'s directed, Alien 3 and Panic Room, are dirty cinematic bitch slaps. With Benjamin Button you\'ve got a cinematographer who\'s worked with Fincher for years. Throw in the screenwriter from Forest Gump. And then theres Brad Pitt, who is not just eye candy for your girlfriend, but can be a wicked good actor from time to time, mostly in David Fincher movies.
