The Incredible Hulk dominates the box office By Swift, (DT) June 15, 2008 12:16 PM PT

"The Incredible Hulk" shocked box office analysts this weekend by taking in an estimated $54.5 million. The Edward Norton starrer had a lot going against it, including overwhelmingly bad buzz and public disinterest (the 2003 version left a bad taste in most audiences' mouths). But it still managed to take the top spot this weekend, ahead of M. Night Shyamalan's "The Happening," which managed to rake in $30.5 million. Both films greatly exceeded most people's expectations.
