Emily is creeping into theaters By Swift, (DT) May 30, 2008 7:25 AM PT

Goth darling Emily the Strange is making the transition from comic book icon to big screen star. Though not much is known about the story yet, "Emily" creator Rob Reger told The Hollywood Reporter that the film will delve into the backstory of the angsty young girl and her four cats, Sabbath, Nee-Chee, Miles and Mystery. Dark Horse Entertainment -- the company that has been publishing the "Emily" comics since 2005 -- will produce the film, and it is likely that it will be set up through Universal. No news about casting has been made public yet, either. Which actress do you think would make the perfect Emily?
