Rainn Wilson joins Transformers 2 By Swift, (DT) May 28, 2008 4:01 PM PT

In an interview with MTV News, "Office" co-star Rainn Wilson announced that he will have a small role in the upcoming sequel to last summer's smash hit "Transformers." Wilson will play a professor at the college attended by Shia LaBeouf's character Witwicky. In other funny-man casting news, Jonah Hill was apparently offered the role of Sam's college roommate, but turned it down. I've always wondered what "Transformers: The College Years" would be like... and soon I shall wonder no more.
