![\"Red-band](\"/story_images/pineapple_express_trailer.jpg\") Pineapple Express is yet another Judd Apatow produced film starring Seth Rogen. However this one is directed by David Gordon Green. David Gordon Green is best known for writing and directing slow moving dramas such as George Washington and All the Real Girls. That is why I am somewhat shocked by his involvement with this project. In Pineapple Express, a lazy stoner Dale (played by Rogen), through a series of coincidences becomes the only witness to a murder by a crooked cop (Rosie Perez?!), he panics and dumps his roach of Pineapple Express at the scene. As it would turn out, the weed is so rare that it can be traced back to dealer Saul (James Franco) and subsequently, him. As Dale and Saul run for their lives, they quickly discover that they’re not suffering from weed-fueled paranoia; incredibly, the bad guys really are hot on their trail and trying to figure out the fastest way to kill them both. R-Rated Pineapple Express Trailer: Either this movie looks really funny or I\'m still stoned. |
