Strike Fails To Shut Down Disneyland Paris

Disneyland Paris said that it functioned normally on Thursday, despite a strike by about 700 workers, roughly ten percent of the entire staff.?Britain's Guardian newspaper indicated today that strikers are taking pains to be on their best behavior.?A spokesman for the park's five unions told the newspaper: "The last thing we want to do is spoil the millennium celebrations for the visitors." The two sides were expected to resume negotiations today.
