Transformers 2 Delayed and Michael Bay Talks By Jack, (DT) January 2, 2008 11:19 AM PT

From our special Bad-News-For-Fanboys department comes this quick report: The Hollywood Reporter is, reporting that Transformers 2 has had its June 26th 2009 release date postponed. There's no confirmed reason given, but one might suggest a connection to the ongoing writer's strike. Director Michael Bay did however have this to say on his blog: For the millions of viewers that logged on this year I want to thank you for the support. Transformers 2 will be coming soon. The new robots are really really unique and there are a lot of them this time. Yep, that's ambiguity and hype for ya!
