![]() Okay, here comes a quick run down of some cinematic happenings. First up, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull has wrapped shooting! And now, joining the world of unnecessary sequels currently in-production is Point Break 2 which is now slated to begin Filming in Mid-2008 and "The Holy Road" a sequel to Dances With Wolves. Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull: It's a Wrap! The official website for next summer's highly-anticipated Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull has been updated with a video that shows the 2007 production wrapping up, as well as the wraps for the three previous movies. I'm sure all you Spielberg fanboys out there are thrilled. Click here to watch it! Point Break 2 Point Break 2, the sequel to the (totally awesome, brah!) surfer movie Point Break, will be set in Southeast Asia and uncover the fate of the surfers' leader Bodhi who was supposedly killed by a giant wave," reports Variety. The action is supposed to follow a surfer-turned-SEAL on the trail of a criminal gang. Locations are being scouted in Indonesia and Singapore. The sequel is budgeted at between $20-30 million. Holy Road: Dances With Wolves sequel Get ready for the Dances With Wolves sequel, Holy Road Based on the novel by Dances author/screenwriter Michael Blake (who is again adapting his own work here), the movie will focus on Lt. John Dunbar, aka Dances with Wolves, and family 11 years after the original story takes place. No official word on Kevin Costner's involvement yet however, Simon Wincer (Quigley Down Under) is set to direct. Read something about it on Variety. |
