Although the sound and video quality may have sounded and looked pre-'60s, Paul McCartney's Internet-televised concert in Liverpool Tuesday night attracted at least three million viewers, a record for such an event, published reports said Wednesday.?The concert, which took place at the Cavern Club, was billed as McCartney's return to his roots as a Beatle.?However, the original Cavern Club was closed in 1973 and eventually demolished.?(Builders of the new Cavern reportedly incorporated bricks from the original building, although 5000 bricks were sold as souvenirs, many of which are being traded on the Internet.)
