Saying that he wanted to focus on his health following recent cancer surgery without the pressure of a daily deadline, Charles Schulz announced Tuesday that he is retiring his cast of "Peanuts" characters.?His last daily strip will appear on Jan.?3 and his last Sunday strip, on Feb.?13.?After that E.W.?Scripps Co./United Features, which distributes the strip, plans to offer "Classic Peanuts." |
