Burger King's Pok?mon trading-card promotion, carried out in conjunction with the release of the hit animated feature, Pok?mon: The First Movie, increased same-store sales as much as 30 percent above last year's, a spokeswoman for the company told today's (Friday) online edition of Advertising Age.?The hamburger chain, which at some outlets ran out of the trading cards, was expected to run ads beginning today alerting customers that it has received new shipments. |
