MGM is likely to announce a merger deal with a major media company "in the next few months," Business Week's online "Daily Briefing" reported Thursday.?According to the publication, the studio has been in separate talks with AT&T's Liberty Media chief John Malone and GE chairman Jack Welch.?While not commenting directly on the negotiations, MGM chairman Alex Yemenidjian told BW: "Acquisitions and mergers are definitely part of our strategy." |
